College Night is an electronic version of the traditional college night for high schools. This "virtual" approach uses logos on web pages instead of tables and allows students, their families, guidance counselors, and other interested persons to link to your institution's admissions web page from among other colleges and universities participating in College Night.
Any institution that offers undergraduate liberal arts credit and is a accredited by a regional, national, or professional accrediting agency. The simple test for eligiblity to participate is: "Is your institution eligible to receive Federal financial aid?" If the answer is "yes," your institution is eligible to participate.
No. Your logo will express your college's unique character. We will mix and match the shapes of the logos to give College Night an inviting look.
Yes, but we need written permission to do so, and you must approve the final version.
No problem! We can develop a home page for you. Just contact us for details.
No, you can sign up anytime. Your participation will run for three or more months from the date you join. There are discounts for six, nine, and twelve month participation.
Not long. If you have an existing logo that you would like to use and it is already on the internet, we can use it to create a logo within 24 hours. After your approval, you will be up in minutes. If we have to develop your logo, the time will vary, but we will work as fast as you can send information and approve the results.
Giving us a purchase order number is the easiest way for you. Sending a check with your order is the easiest way for us, but either way is fine.
Yes, but if you do, the discounts for a long-term contract will not apply. Your business office will understand why.
We will be very aggressive in promoting College Night. First, we will be active in electronic newsgroups and listservers associated with colleges and education. Second, we are linked with several other popular college search machines--primarily US Mall, a winner of several national recognitions--and with general search machines. Third, we are linked with The Dunce's Cap, a popular college selection e-zine sent weekly to 40,000 college-bound students and other interested parties. (By the way, Bell Atlantic Net chose The Dunce's Cap to be a standard reference on their list of educational sites.)
Have you been in the profession long enough to remember how those colleges fared that first used Student Search Service? They cleaned up. Just think... you could be one of the first users and get all the action!
